I bought my 1991 Nissan 240sx about 2 years ago for $3900. When i got it, it had 103,000 miles on it and was in excellent running condition. I did not buy this car with the intent of making it what it has become today. Instead, i needed a car that would get me through college. Like most others that want a long lasting, reliable car, i wanted a Honda. However, after speaking to a few 240sx owners, i realized that the 240 would be a better bet. The 240sx has a timing chain, not a timing belt like a Honda. There for, replacement is necessary much less often (if ever). Second, the 240sx is rear wheel drive. I am sure that just about every honda owner has gone through the replacement of the axle's routine. The Boot rips, the grease drops out, and now you are $300 in debt....unless you own a Nissan :P

In knowing that the little Nissan would require less maintenence, i went ahead with the purchase.

Here i am, 2 years later--A V8 killer.
